These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of EquiTerra ("Service"), operated by EquiTerra ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
EquiTerra is a personal finance tracking tool that allows users to manually record and visualize their net worth over time. The Service does not connect to financial institutions, banks, or investment accounts. All data is entered manually by the user.
You must create an account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate information when creating your account.
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
The Service is offered on a subscription basis with the following plans:
All plans include a 14-day free trial. No credit card is required to start a trial. After the trial period, continued use requires an active subscription.
Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy. By subscribing, you agree to Lemon Squeezy's terms of service. We do not store your payment information.
Monthly subscriptions will renew automatically until cancelled. You may cancel at any time through your Lemon Squeezy account portal. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period.
We do not offer refunds for partial subscription periods, except where required by applicable law.

You own all financial data you enter into EquiTerra. We do not claim any ownership over your data. You may export or delete your data at any time.
By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store and process your data solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.
EquiTerra is a tracking and visualization tool. Nothing in the Service constitutes financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. The forecasts and projections shown are based on historical data you enter and are for informational purposes only. They should not be relied upon for financial decision-making.
We strongly recommend consulting a qualified financial advisor before making any significant financial decisions.
We aim to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service. We may perform maintenance, updates, or experience downtime without prior notice. We are not liable for any losses resulting from Service unavailability.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, EquiTerra and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at hello@equiterra.app. Upon account deletion, your data will be permanently removed within 90 days.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or a notice within the app. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration, except where prohibited by applicable law.
